Vehicle makes and models vary, the transportation setup is inconsistent, pets are often crammed into stressful crates or isolated in the rear hatch of SUVs, and high-quality training of drivers cannot be enforced.

At Chaufur Pet Transit, we don’t use personal vehicles. We operate a fleet of purpose-built, highly customized transit vans designed from the tires up to treat your pet like the precious treasure they are. We look at every journey through their eyes, removing the anxiety of travel and replacing it with consistent, first-class comfort and safety led by Chaufurs with year-round Professional training.

How It Works

1. Create A Profile

fill out a quick online questionnaire detailing your pet’s unique personality, medical history, and travel needs in our Gingr Software.

2. Schedule Appointments

To guarantee a seamless experience, we require two scheduled appointments:
• A Meet-and-Greet: Held for new Pawsengers prior to the first official trip.
• The Transit Service: Our round trip transportation scheduled for at least 30 minutes prior to your pet’s actual appointment time at their destination.

3. Review And Confirm

We’ll provide you a quote and confirm your dates based on fleet availability.
• New Clients: Payment is due in full prior to performing a meet-and-greet.
• Returning Clients: Payment is due at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled Transit Service.

4. Enjoy The Magic

On travel day, furry family members safely board the familiar van they toured during their Meet-n-Greet. They settle into our welcoming environment where our Chaufur will consistently engage, pamper, and care for them from initial pick up to final drop off. All while we keep you updated at every major milestone of their trip!

Transit Zones

We’ve made it easy to find your service area with our color-coded transit zones: Zone 1 (white), Zone 2 (teal), and Zone 3 (blue). Cities in the same zone share the same base service charge. If your city is split into north and south, or east and west regions, just reach out—we’re happy to help you confirm your zone.

ZonE ONE

Zone One includes Oldsmar, East Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor, West Town-N-Country, and Westchase.

Zone Two

Zone Two includes Clearwater, Dunedin, West Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs, East Lake, Keystone, Odessa, Lutz, Cheval, Northdale, Citrus Park, Carrollwood, and East Town-N-Country.

ZONE THREE

Zone Three includes New Port Richey, Trinity, Clearwater Beach, Belleair, Belleair Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Largo, St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE), Saint Petersburg, South Tampa, Tampa International Airport (TPA), and MacDill Air Force Base.

I reached out to have them transport my older dog to the veterinarian, and they were absolutely wonderful with her from start to finish. Since she has a torn ACL, I was especially nervous about making sure she was handled with extra care, but they were incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive the entire time.

What really stood out was how much effort they put into making my dog feel comfortable. They even scheduled a meet and greet the day before so she could get familiar with them and so they could answer all of our questions. During the transport, they also sent pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind.

The driver was kind, professional, compassionate, and clearly cared deeply about animals. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent, and everything was handled so smoothly and easily.
